O plano tem o objetivo de fornecer diretrizes unificadas a serem seguidas por todos os estados e munic\u00edpios do pa\u00eds e, dessa forma, combater o mosquito de maneira efetiva. Al\u00e9m do combate, o plano tamb\u00e9m visa o atendimento a mulheres e beb\u00eas com microcefalia &#8211; doen\u00e7a que tem rela\u00e7\u00f5es com a zika v\u00edrus. Nesta manh\u00e3, Dilma se reuniu com o governador de Pernambuco, Paulo C\u00e2mara, com prefeitos e autoridades locais e nacionais ligadas \u00e0s \u00e1reas de sa\u00fade e defesa civil para discutir os casos de microcefalia. Na 15\u00aa Confer\u00eancia Nacional de Sa\u00fade, que aconteceu na sexta-feira (4), em Bras\u00edlia, Dilma informou que o primeiro teste do plano ser\u00e1 um &#8220;imenso combate&#8221; ao mosquito devido \u00e0s consequ\u00eancias que tem trazido \u00e0s gestantes que contraem o v\u00edrus zika e para seus filhos. &#8220;Come\u00e7ou no Nordeste, mas j\u00e1 tem em outras regi\u00f5es do pa\u00eds. Na \u00faltima quarta (2), o ministro da Sa\u00fade, Marcelo Castro, afirmou que dos 646 casos de microcefalia registrados em Pernambuco, cerca de 150 foram confirmados &#8211; maior n\u00famero do pa\u00eds.
