Tal iniciativa chegou a ser cogitada no primeiro mandato do governador Jaques Wagner, quando o deputado Paulo Rangel (PT) tentou propor a medida e acabou dissuadido pelo ent\u00e3o rec\u00e9m-chegado \u00e0 presid\u00eancia da AL-BA, Marcelo Nilo (sem partido). Procurado pelo Bahia Not\u00edcias, Nilo confirmou acompanhar as movimenta\u00e7\u00f5es de \u201cv\u00e1rios deputados\u201d, por\u00e9m n\u00e3o precisou se os parlamentares devem apresentar uma Proposta de Emenda \u00e0 Constitui\u00e7\u00e3o (PEC). \u201cSe algum deputado apresentar o projeto, darei tramita\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, afirmou o dirigente do legislativo nesta segunda-feira (26). Al\u00e9m do TCM baiano, outros tr\u00eas estados possuem Cortes de contas municipais: Goi\u00e1s, Par\u00e1 e Cear\u00e1 \u2013 no caso de S\u00e3o Paulo, h\u00e1 um tribunal de contas exclusivo para a capital paulista. Em 2015, o TCM-BA deteve or\u00e7amento de R$ 161,2 milh\u00f5es, justificativa para uma incorpora\u00e7\u00e3o do tribunal ao TCE. \u201cV\u00e1rios deputados t\u00eam me procurado, tendo em vista o momento econ\u00f4mico, querem incorporar o TCM ao TCE\u201d, explicou Nilo.
